The whole of the island... from one angle.
Ek noem hulle Sandy, Mary, Bellie en Sanettie, nie in enige volgorde nie.
Die reisigers.
After two nights at Kubu, we headed to Elephant Sands, close to Nata, for another two nights.
Sekretarisvoël naby Ntwetwe-pan, oppad Gweta toe.
Ntwetwe pan.
At Elephant Sands we enjoyed a up close and personal elephant experience. The show started at around 15:00 and lasted till the early hours of the morning. The elephants can roam freely and nothing is off limits to them.
The view of the waterhole from our tent.
View from the bar/swimming pool. Yep, there is no fence and that is our tent on the far left of the picture.
Elephant Sands... "where elephants rule"
Only single bulls showed up at the (unfenced) main camp waterhole.
Herd with five young elephants at another waterhole on the property.
Kudu chilling at the side of the road.
Ellie boots.
On our way home we stopped at the Nata bird sanctuary. There still was a lot of water in the pan. All sort of birds and some depressed wildebeest.
All in all awesome little breakaway.
